Generally we encourage clients to book appointments as soon as the moving date is finalized. It’s never too early to book. Usually weekends, beginning and ending of a month are the busiest periods for moving. During these times, we recommend reserving a truck as soon as possible in order to secure your appointment time.

Local moves (within the Greater Toronto Area) are charged by the hour. We do not provide a fixed price for local moves. The charge is based on the actual moving hours on the moving day. For long-distance moves, our KM charge (about 70% of the cost of the move) is fixed. The only variable is the number of loading and unloading hours.

This is only a guideline for your reference. Please call us so we can assist you in selecting the right truck for your move. Recommendations: 1-bedroom: 18’ truck, 2-bedroom: 22’ truck, 3-bedroom: 25’ – 30’ truck.

There is no set answer for all customers as each move is different. But from experience, a 1-bedroom move should take around 2-3 hours, a 2-3 bedroom apartment move should take around 4-6 hours, and a 3-bedroom house move takes around 6-8 hours. Once again, each move is different in its way. This is just a guideline for estimation purposes.

The hourly rate begins when the truck arrives at your place of residence. It continues as the crew loads the truck and drives to your new location. It ends when the truck is empty, and any required setup is complete.

Travel time is a flat-rate fee based on the average driving time from our office to your location and the return time to our office after the completion of your move. Travel time does not include any additional driving time between loading and unloading. This is included in your moving time.

The traveling charge is calculated based on the time between our office to your first address and from your new address back to our office when the job is completed. In short, the traveling charge still applies even though it’s only 15 minutes between your current and new address.

Stairs fee: $10/floor (one-time charge). The stairs fee will be charged when there are no elevators (i.e., buildings, townhouses, house basement, 3rd floor, etc.). Stairs increase the difficulty of the move due to safety reasons as well as fatigue.

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard and AMEX.

Yes. All credit card payments require notifying us in advance so we could bring proper documentation to process the credit card.

Yes. For cash payments, we will collect before unloading (an estimated amount based on the loading time). And once the move is completed, we will return/collect the difference from the client.
